8 © 2004 directed electronics, inc. Alarm P age If the alarm system is triggered while armed, an Alarm P age will be sent to the remote control. When the remote r eceives an Alarm P age, the LED icons will display the alarm system status information and the remote control will generate beeps.
9 © 2004 directed electronics, inc. out of range notification If a command is issued from the r emote, but the remote is beyond the range of the vehicle to receiv e the command, the remote responds with 2 sets of 3 quick beeps and the G reen LED will flash 6-times.
10 © 2004 directed electronics, inc. P age notification The remote control can be programmed to notify the user of a page (audibly beeping if the vehicle ’ s status changes, e.g. door unlocked, engine started, vehicle violation, etc.). P ress to select page On/Off .

13 © 2004 directed electronics, inc. multi-level security arming M ulti-Level S ecurity Arming allows you to select which of the system's inputs or sensors will be active and which will be bypassed when the system is armed. (See Table of Zones section of this guide.
14 © 2004 directed electronics, inc. After each press of the to reach the next level of security , the remote will emit normal arm notification (1 beep and 3 flashes of the Orange LED). F or easiest operation in reaching each level of security , press immediately a a f f t t e e r r each notification.
15 © 2004 directed electronics, inc. The remote will indicate disarm notification with 2 beeps and 3 flashes of the Orange LED. If disarming after the system has been triggered, the remote contr ol will send a diagnostic notifi- cation as a reminder .
16 © 2004 directed electronics, inc. disarming without a 2-way remote This feature allo ws you to disarm the security system without the 2- way remote should it be lost, damaged, or disabled. I n order to dis- arm the system without a 2-way remote, you must have the v ehicle ’ s ignition key and know wher e the V alet ® button is located.
17 © 2004 directed electronics, inc. The remote will indicate disarm notification with 2 beeps and 3 flashes of the Orange LED. silent mode T o temporarily turn off the arm or disarm chirps, use Silent M ode™.
18 © 2004 directed electronics, inc. panic mode If you are thr eatened in or near your vehicle, y ou can attract attention by triggering the system with your 2-way remote. J ust press for two seconds, and you will enter P anic Mode. The siren will sound and the parking lights will flash for the programmed siren duration.
19 © 2004 directed electronics, inc. T o enter or exit V alet ® Mode using the 2-way remote: 1. Open any vehicle door . 2. P ress . 3. P ress . 4. P ress again. The in-vehicle status LED will light solidly if you are entering V alet ® Mode, and it will go out if you are exiting V alet ® Mode.

22 © 2004 directed electronics, inc. disarming diagnostics Extra disarm chirps are the T amper Alert. If four chirps are heard when disarming, the system was triggered in your absence. If fiv e chirps are hear d, a zone was triggered so many times that N uisance P revention ® Cir cuitry has bypassed that zone.

This delay is intended to allow you time to distance y ourself from your vehicle in the event of a carjacking.
