Press the Info button and repeat to cycle through the information displa y options av ailable for the cur rent audio source. 6 Setting the alar m & timer Set ting th e alar m EV OKE Mio has an alarm which s witches the radio on (if in standby mode) and tunes to a D AB or FM radio station or sounds an alarm tone. 1. Press the Menu button, turn the T une dial and push to select ‘ Alarm settings’.
7 7. If y ou ha v e selected a D AB or FM alar m y ou can push the T une dial to select ‘ Alar m volume’ and turn to adjust the volume lev el for the alarm from 1 (ver y quiet) to 32 (ver y loud). That’ s it! Y ou can see if the alarm is currently switched on in the ‘Full screen time’ displa y (see page 5).
8 P resets and Intellitext St oring and selec ting preset s Store up to 30 of y our fa v ourite D AB or FM radio stations in a combined list. T o quick -store a DAB or FM st ation to a preset but ton ( 1–5) T une to the D AB or FM station y ou want to store.
9 Presets and Intellitext Intellitex t ® Intellitext provides on-demand text information such as sports headlines, w eather , and news from D AB stations that support the ser vice including BBC Radio F ive Liv e and talkSPORT . The text is updated by the broadcasters and stored in y our radio while y ou listen to stations.
10 Using a ChargeP AK Charg eP AK E1 is a recharg eable batter y pack provided with y our EVOKE Mio. ChargeP AK pro vides the benefi ts of recharg eable batteries without the incon v enience of remo ving and recharging separate batteries.
11 Setup options Options available in DAB When listening to D AB , press the Menu button, tur n the T une dial to scroll through the options and push the T une dial to select. DRC value DRC (Dynamic Range Control) v alue makes the quieter sounds in a D AB broadcast easier to hear at low v olume or in a noisy en vironment.
12 Options available in FM FM tuning mode Seek When y ou turn the T une dial, the radio tunes to the next station with a g ood signal. Manual When y ou turn the T une dial, the radio tunes up or down the FM frequency rang e by 0.05 MHz. FM stereo mode Choose from Stereo or Mono (default).
13 Set clock Y ou can manually set the time and date if required. If y ou ha v e a D AB signal and/or a good FM (RDS) reception these will be updated automatically .
