Remove t he fi ve sc rews fro m the LCD bezel as shown below . 3. Caref ull y sna p out the LCD bezel . . 4. Remove the two screws of the LED board, then lift t he LED boar d away fr om t he LCD p anel.

Chapte r 3 63 9. Caref ull y t ear off the adhesi v e tape and re move the LCD FPC cable fr om the LCD. 10. This co m pletes the di sassem bly of the LCD module.

68 Removal and Repl acement Removing the RTC Ba ttery 1. Use a flat bla ded screw driver to re move the RT C batt er y f rom it s socket. No te : Y ou can also re move RTC bat tery when the keyb oard and CPU heat s i nk a re re m oved. No te : T o re-inst al l the RTC bat t ery , press the R TC batter y into the socket .
Chapte r 3 69 Rem oving the CD-ROM / Diskette D rive Module 1. Slide out the CD-ROM drive from th e CD-ROM and diskett e dr i ve module . 2. Disco nnect the CD- ROM cable at CN18 and disk ette dri ve cable at CN17 fr om the system boar d.
