6 Before beginning assembly , carefully read the following information and instructions: • Assembly requires two people. • For help identifying small parts, use the P ART IDENTIFICA TION CHART on page 5. • T ighten all parts as you assemble them, unless instructed to do otherwise.
7 3. Attach the Rear Stabilizer (4) to the Rear Leg (3) with two M10 x 63mm Carriage Bolts (18) and two M 10 Nylon Locknuts (19). M ake sure the indents in the Stabilizer , and the Rear Leg are oriented a s shown. Do not tighten the Locknuts yet. Attach the Rear Leg (3) to the Frame (1) with two M10 x 20mm Bolts (25) and two M10 W ashers (20).
8 ADJUSTING THE BACKREST The Backrest (7) can be used in a declined, a level, or any of four inclined positions. T o adjust the Backrest, remove the Locking Pin (21) from the Frame (1). Move the Backrest to the desired position and reinsert the Locking Pin into the Frame and an adjustment hole in the Pivot Bracket (6).
9 EXERCISE GUIDELINES THE FOUR BASIC TYPES OF WORKOUTS Muscle Building T o increase the size and strength of your muscles, push them close to their maximum capacity . Y our mus- cles will adapt and grow as you progressively increase the intensity of your exercise.
10 Rest for a short period of time after each set. The ideal resting periods are: • Rest for three minutes after each set for a muscle building workout. • Rest for one minute after each set for a toning work- out. • Rest for 30 seconds after each set for a weight loss workout.
