BEFORE YOU BEGIN Congratulations for selecting the new PROFORM _'_ GR 80 exercise cycle. Cycling is one of the most effective exercises for increasing cardiovascular fitness, building endurance, and toning the body.
ASSEMBLY Assembly requires two persons, Place all parts of the exercise cycle in a cleared area and remove the packing materials. Do not dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed.
While another person liftsthefront of the Frame (1) slightly, attach the Front Stabilizer (3) to the Frame with two MlOx 75mm Carriage Bolts (51)and two MlONylon Locknuts (63). See the inset drawing. Loosen the Adjustment Knob (17), slide the Rear Frame (2) out of the Frame (1), andthen retighten theAdjustment Knob.
Have another person hold the Seat Frames (7) under the Rear Frame (2) as shown. Attach the Seat Frames andthe Seat (12) to the Rear Frame withfourM6 x 42mm Button Screws (49)and four M6 Washers (55). See step 3. Tighten thetwo M8 x 70mm Button Bolts (54).
8. 8 . Connect the Upper Wire Harness (36) to the Lower Wire Harness (65). Attach the Upright (13) to the Frame (1) with three M8 x 25mm Button Screws (33) and three M8 Split Washers (59). Be careful to avoid pinching the Wire Harnesses. Identify the Left Pedal (24), which is marked with an "L.

Monitor your progress with the display, The upper half of the display will show the elapsed time, the distance you have pedaled, and the resistance level of the pedals. HOW TO USE A PULSE PROGRAM Pulse program 1 is designed to keep your heart rate within a set range during your workout. Pulse program 2 is designed to keep your heart rate near a target heart rate setting that you select. Follow the steps below to use a pulse program.
Turn on the fan if desired. See step 6 on page 9. When you are finished exercising, the console will automatically turn off, See step 7 on page 9. .OWTO USE APRESET PROGRAM Preset programs 3 and 4 automatically change the resistance of the pedals and prompt you to increase or decrease your pedaling pace as they guide you through effective workouts.
MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING Inspect and properly tighten all parts of the exercise cycle regularly. Replace any worn parts immediately. To clean the exercise cycle, use a damp cloth and a small amount of liquid dish soap.
