3 PRESTIGIO P400MW / P460MW ENG Installation Power This set operates on an A C mains supply , the voltage is as indicated on the label on the back co ver . Never apply DC power to the set. In the event of thunderstorms or power-cuts, please pull out the aerial and mains plugs.
4 PRESTIGIO P400MW / P460MW ENG Remote control handset Controls Before you use the remote control handset, please install the batteries. -All the functions can be controlled with the remote control handset. -Some functions can also be adjusted with the buttons on the front panel of the set.
5 PRESTIGIO P400MW / P460MW ENG Battery installation -Y our remote contr ol handset is pow ered by two AAA type batteries. 1 T o insert batteries, turn the remote control handset ov er and remove the battery cover . 2 Put the two bat t eries into the compar tment observing battery polarity.

11 PRESTIGIO P400MW / P460MW ENG 7 Connecting PC (DTV ) Connect the signal cable from the monitor output socket of the PERSONAL COMPUTER to the RGB INPUT sock-et of the set. Connect the audio cable from the PC to the AUDIO INPUT sockets of the set. Press the INPUT SELECT button to select PC- RGB.
1 2 PRESTIGIO P400MW / P460MW ENG Basic operation 1 On and Off Press the main power button to switch the set on. If the set is in standby mode, press the POWER, / / / buttons on the remote c ontrol handset to swit ch it on fully. Press the POWER button on the remote control handset.
13 PRESTIGIO P400MW / P460MW ENG On screen menus Menu selection -The dialogue between you and your set takes place on screen with an operator menu. The buttons required for the operating steps are also displayed. 1 Press the MENU button and then use / / / button to dis- play each menu.
1 4 PRESTIGIO P400MW / P460MW ENG Setting up TV stations Auto programme tuning -Up to 100 TV stations can be stored by programme numbers (0 to 99). Once you have preset the stations, you will be able to use the / / / or NUMBER buttons to scan the stations you programmed.
15 PRESTIGIO P400MW / P460MW ENG T o stop auto progr amming, press the MENU button. When auto programming is c ompleted, the Edit menu appears on the screen. See the ‘Programme edit’ section to edit the stored pro-gr amme. Repeatedly press the MENU button to return to normal TV viewing.
1 6 PRESTIGIO P400MW / P460MW ENG 4 Normally fine tuning is only necessary if reception is poor . Press the / / / button to select Fine. Press the < / > button to fine tune for the best picture and sound. Press the / / / button to select Search.

25 PRESTIGIO P400MW / P460MW ENG 6 Stereo/Dual/NICAM reception In A V mode, you can select output sound for the left and right loudspeakers. Repeatedly press the I/II butt on to select the sound output. L+R :Audio signal from audio L input is sent to left loud-speaker and audio signal from audio R input is sent to right loud-speaker .
