12 Plugging and connecting Maes tro Line Preamplifier First of all, you have to link the two sections of the unit us ing the three pr ovided connector s. Before connect ing Maestro Li ne Preamplifier to the sound sour ce and to the amplifier, p lease be sure t hat all the units are unplugged from wall out lets.
13 Volume settings and silencing (mute) The volume knob on t he front panel a nd the Vol+/Vol- butt ons on the remote contro ller change the g eneral sound level. It means that the vo lume of the two channels is al tered identica lly. It is po ssible to modify the rela tive level of each channel changing the balance option in the setup.
14 Notes on inputs bypassing Set-up has an optio n that allows sendin g the input signal t o the outputs to bypass the amplifier when t he unit is in stan d- by mode.
15 Set-up navigation Due to the reduced size of the display, on ly one option at a time is shown. Use the remot e controller to nav igate through the different options, to cho ose the desired on e and also to modify the p arameters value.
