OPERATION 7 | PreSonus 2007 2.1 QUICK START UP 2.1.1 Installation in Microsoft Windows The FP10 installer will take you through ea ch step of the installation process. Please read each message carefully – ensuring especially yo u do not c onnect your FP10 early.

OPERATION 10 | PreSonus 2007 2.1.2 Installation in Mac OS X The FP10 audio drivers are included in the Core Audi o of Mac OS X version 10.3.5 and later. 1) Connect your FP10 to yo ur com pu ter ’s Fire Wire por t an d turn it on. The sync light should flash a few times.
OPERATION 11 | PreSonus 2007 2.1.3 Cubase LE 4 – Device Setup Once you have installe d the FP10 drivers and co nnected your FP10, you can use the Cubase LE M usic Creation and P roduction System softw are included with your FP10 t o begin recording, mixing and pr oducing your music.

OPERATION 13 | PreSonus 2007 2.1.4 Cubase LE – Creating a Project To begin recor ding in Cubase LE , you first need to cr eate a project. Once you ha ve the project environment, you can begi n adding audi o and MIDI tr acks to record and edi t on.

CONTROLS AND CONNECTI ONS 19 | PreSonus 2007 3.1.2 FP10 Hardware Settings Microsoft Wind ows Mac OS X • Sample Rate . Sets the FP10 sample rate. Can be set to 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96 kHz . This must be set to the same sample rate as your recording software.

When an instr ument is plu gged into the ins trument inpu t, the microphone preamplifier is byp assed and the FP10 becomes an active instrumen t preamplifier.
