9 FUELING & L UBRICA TION WAR N I N G : Remove fuel cap s low- ly w hen refueling. FU EL ING EN GINE This engine is c ertified to operate on unleaded gas oline. Befor e operation, gasoline mus t be mixed w ith a good quality sy nthetic 2-c yc le air-c ooled engine oil designed t o be mixed at a ratio of 40:1.
10 OFF HA LF CHOKE /F AST IDLE LEV ER Choke / fa st idle le ver (SIDE VIEW ) FULL 6. Pull the s tarter rope s harply with y our right hand until t he engine star ts. 7. Allow t he engine to run for appr oximately 5 s econds. Then, s queeze and releas e throttle tr igger to allow engine to r eturn to idle s peed.
11 S Releas e the throttle trigger as soon as the cut is c ompleted, allowing the en- gine to idle. If y ou run the saw at full throttle without a c utting load, unneces - sar y wear c an occ ur to the c hain, bar , and engine. It i s recommended that the engi ne not be ope rated for lon- ger th an 30 seconds at f ull thro ttle.
