8 FUELING & LUBRIC ATION FUELING ENGINE This engi ne is c ertified to operate on unleaded gasoline. B efore operation, gasoline mus t be mix ed wi th a good qualit y 2-cycle a ir- coole d engine oil. We recommend Poulan or P oulan Pro R brand oil.
9 S Press the t hrottle l ock with y our right hand. Squeeze and hold the throttl e tri gger; Press and hold the fast idle lock wi th your forefinger; release t he throttle trigger. NOTE : If the thrott le trigger i s squeezed during st arting, it wi ll be nec essary to reset the fast idle loc k.
10 S Stop the s aw if the chain st rikes a foreign object. I nspect the saw and repair part s as necess ary. S Keep the chain out of di rt and sand. Even a small amount of di rt will quickly dull a chain and incr ease the poss ibility of kick back .
