16 REPLACE SP ARK PLUG Replac e the spar k plug eac h y ear to ensure the engine start s eas ier and runs bett er . Set spar k plug gap at 0. 025 inch ( 0.6 mm ) . Igni- tion timing is fix ed and nonadjustable. 1. T wis t, then pull off spark plug boot.
17 STORAGE WAR N I NG : P erform the follow ing steps after eac h use: S Allow engine to c ool befor e stor ing or tr ans- porting. S Store unit and fuel in a well ventilated area where fuel v apors cannot r each spark s or open f lames from w ater heaters , elec tric motors or s wit ches , furnac es , etc.
