5 ASSEMBL Y INFORMA TION - - TRIMMER H EAD TRIMMER HEAD NOTE: Remove the blade and metal shiel d before at taching the plasti c s hield and t rim- mer head. T o remove blade, push in locking lever and hold. Rot ate blade nut until the lock- ing lever f alls i nto one of the grooves in the dust c up.
6 S Place the met al shiel d under the gearbox, and align the s crew holes. Shield Gearbox S Insert and t hread the 4 mounting screws through the holes of the gearbox and t he metal shield.
7 HOW TO ST ART YOUR UNIT Starti ng Posit ion W ARNING: The trimmer head will turn while start ing the engine. Avoid any con- tact with the m uffler. A hot muffler can cause serious burns. S Rest engine and shield on ground, s upport- ing t rimmer head of f ground.
