2 For Y our Conv enience An existing Appearance Key cann ot be overwritten wi thout the Appearance Key first being erased. Programmable Func tion Keys (Gen eral Key Code) c an be erased by e ntering S ervice Code 00.
3 For Y our Conv enience Common/Personal Abbreviated Diallin g Bins are numbered as f ollows (by default): 2-digit dialling: C ommon = 00-79, Pe rsonal = 8 0-99, or 3-digit dialling: C ommon = 000-899, Personal = 99 0-919. System programmi ng is required t o allow Group Abbrevi ated Dialling.
4 Placing Calls Pressing CALL key after dialling an e xtension number is also po ssible. Y our call will ring or voice-announce . If you hear ringing, wait f or an answer. If you hear a beep, begin speaking. Dialli ng “1” changes voice/ring mode (where th e destination is an IPC 100 T elephon e).
5 Placing Calls Qu ickly Intercom numbers c an also be st ored under Last Number Redial . A sk your P BC Authorised Supplier for details. Last Number Redia l < Outside/Intercom Calls> LND VOL Redial List The system retains the last 10 numbers dialle d which can be viewed and di alled.
6 If you r cal l doesn’ t go through… Setting Camp On / Callback / T runk Queuing <Camp On> For Intercom Call , when you hear ringing, wait for t he called party to ans wer . For T runk Queui ng, when you he ar Dial T one, begin dialling the tele phone number.
7 If you r cal l doesn’ t go through… Repeat Dialling <Ou tside Call> The system periodically redials th e call. Repeat duration is pro grammable. Ask your PBC Authorised Supplier for details. Y ou should lift the handset when the ca lled party answered.
