13 Preparation Initial Settings - VCR By using the VCR Setup menu, you can make various adjustments to items such as clock setting, and timer recordings. Y our unit allows remote control adjustment of several features. General Operation 1. Press VCR on the Remote Control.

21 Operation Program Priority If the recording time of this unit and the external device are overlap: The earlier program takes priority . When the earlier program finishes, the later program starts. Note: Instant T imer recording is not available when the external timer record is in progress.

Operation 23 Copying from DVD to VCR Y ou can copy the contents of a DVD to a VHS tape. 1. Insert the disc you wish to copy into the DVD deck and close the disc tray . 2. Insert a blank VHS video tape into the VCR deck. 3. Find the place on the DVD from which you want to start dubbing using the PLA Y , FF , REW and P AUSE functions.
English 24 Additional VCR Information • During manual recording playback, or fast forward modes, the unit automatically starts rewinding the tape at the end of the tape. The cassette stops at the beginning of the tape and is ejected. • After you have finished using the unit, rewind, eject, and remove the cassette.
