5 OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS FOREWORD These Porter -Cable routers ar e designed for continuous, rugged operation to handle the most demanding production applications. SELECTING THE BIT These routers accommodate bits with 1 / 2 " diameter shanks that ar e installed directly into the power unit collet.

MAINTENANCE KEEP TOOL CLEAN Periodically blow out all air passages with dry compressed air . Remove buildup of grime resulting fr om working with green or sappy wood. All plastic parts should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. NEVER use solvents to clean plastic parts.
