1 Integrating the SoundPoint IP 7000 Conference Phone with a Polycom HDX System This chapter describes how to integrate the SoundPoint IP ® 7000 conference phone with a Polycom ® HDX system in an unsupported VoIP environment. It also describes how to upgrade the phone’s software when it is connected to a Polycom HDX system.

Integrating the SoundPoint IP 7000 Co nference Phone with a Polycom HDX System 3 Optional and Required Accessories You require a Polycom HDX Microphone Cable to connect the phone to the Polycom HDX system. It is not part of th e basic phone package, but is included in the separate SoundStation IP 7000 - Polycom HDX system integration package.

Reboot the phone by pressing the reboot multiple key combination. Press and hold the *, #, Volume-, and Vol ume+ keys simultaneously until a confirmation tone is heard or for about three seconds.
