- 5 - F r o n t P a n e l 1. INPUT button Press to select the modes: TV , COMPOSITE, S-VIDEO, COMPONENT or VGA. 2. MENU button Press to enter or exit setup menu. 3. CH ▼ / ▲ button In TV mode, press to select channels. In setup menu, the same function as ▼ / ▲ direction buttons.
- 6 - R e a r P a n e l 1. Component (YPbPr) Input Jacks Connect to the COMPONENT input and the L/R audio inputs in COMPONENT mode . 2. S-VIDEO Input Jack Connect to the S-VIDEO input in S-VIDEO mode 3. VIDEO/L/R Audio Input Jack Connect to the VIDEO input in COMPOSITE or S-VIDEO mode.

- 8 - R e m o t e C o n t r o l Prep are the Remote Control Gently push the back cove r to open the battery compartment. Insert two batteries (1.5V , size AAA) into the compartment; please make sure the polarity matches the symbols on the insi de the compartment.
- 9 - S y s t e m C o n n e c t i o n s • Do not connect the power cord until all other connections have be en made. • Remove the jack cover before ma kin g any connections. • Make sure you observe the color cord when connecting audio and video cables.
- 10 - S y s t e m C o n n e c t i o n s Connecting to External A V Signal Source (COMPONENT) Use the audio and video cables to connect the Compo nent input jacks on the r ear panel of the unit to the external AV signal source.
- 11 - S y s t e m C o n n e c t i o n s Connecting to PC The unit can be connected to PC (person comput er) via the VGA cable. Follow the steps and the figure below to connect: 1. Connect one end of the VGA cable to the VGA input jack o n the rear panel of the unit.
- 12 - S y s t e m C o n n e c t i o n s Connecting to Power Cable Plug the two-prong end of the power cord to an AC 100-240V outl et. If you have difficulty inserting the plug, turn it over and reinsert it. If the unit will not be used for a long time, disconnect the plug from the outlet.
- 13 - S y s t e m C o n n e c t i o n s Connecting to TV Signal This unit can be connected to the TV signal input source via the TV jack on the rear panel.
- 14 - T V F u n c t i o n Prep arations 1. After connection, press the PO WER button to turn on the power . 2. Press the INPUT button to shift to TV m ode. You can go on with the following operations: Image Setting Note: This item is only available when there is a signal input.

- 16 - T V F u n c t i o n Audio Setting Press the MENU button once to enter the setup menu. Press the ▲▼ button to select Audio and press the OK button to enter the menu shown on the right. In the Audio setup menu , press the ▲▼ button to select the desired item and pre ss the OK button to enter .
- 17 - T V F u n c t i o n T imer Setting Press the MENU button to enter the setup menu. Press the ▲▼ button to select Tim er and press the OK button to enter the menu shown on the right. In the T i mer setup menu, press the ▲▼ button to select 15Min, 30Min, 45Min, 60Min, 75Min, 90Min, 105Min, 120Min or Of f.
- 18 - T V F u n c t i o n Country Setup Press the ▲▼ button to select Country and press the OK button to enter. Press the ▲▼ button to select the desired item and press the OK button to confirm your selection. Press the MENU button to return to the previous menu.
- 19 - T V F u n c t i o n Channel Name Press the ▲▼ button to select the Channel Name and press the OK button to enter . Then p ress the ▲▼ button to select letters or press the number button to input numb ers. Press the MENU button to return to the previous menu.

When receiving stereo audio sig nals, press the STEREO/AUDIO button on the remote control repeatedly to shift the sound tracks between Nicam Stereo an d Mono and the screen will appear corresponding display as shown belo w: 2.
- 22 - Other Function External A V Input Function The unit has external AV input function. It supports COMPOSITE , S-VIDEO and COMPONENT modes. Use the audio, video, and S-V ideo cables to conne ct the unit to the external AV signal source such as recorde r, video camera, satellite re ceiver or game player etc.
- 23 - T roubleshooting PROBLEM POSSIBLE SOLUTION There is no sound. Make sure system conne ct ion is correct. Make sure the speakers are not muted. In the TV mode, set the corre ct sound mode. LCD is not displaying a picture. Make sure the unit is turned on and all conne ctions are correct.
