43 OPERATION Star ting the E ngine 7. Move the engine stop switch to RUN. NOT E: Do not pr ess the t hrot tle while st art ing the engine. 8. T urn the ignition key past the ON position to enga ge the star ter . Activa te the starte r for a ma ximum of five seconds, rele asing the key when the engine sta rts.
