Getting Star t ed IN THIS SEC TION … Y ou will get to kno w ho w to make the De vic e operable for the rst time and learn about its basic interfac e and c ontrol features. CHAR GING THE BA TTER Y The battery of your De vice is not fully charged as y ou un- pack it, so you ne ed to charge it for 8-12 hours.
4 . When the battery is fully charged, the indicator turns solid green. Now you can disc onnect the micro-USB cable. NO TE It’ s recommended to charge the batt ery using the charging devic e. In case if y ou charge the battery from PC, it’ s better to keep the De vice o ff, because pow er consumption may be more, than charging.
TURNING ON T o turn the De vic e on, press On/Off button until star tup logo appears. When the Devic e is ready to operate, the lock scre en appears. The lock screen can be unlock ed in two ways: ei- .
FINGER GESTURES Ta p Shor t sof t touch on an item ( e.g. le, application, f older or menu item) opens it. If item can be opened with various ap- plications, y ou will be asked to sele ct one to open with. Y ou can set y our choice as default one. P ress and Hold This gesture calls c onte xt menu with available options for an item.
Pinch In par ticular applications (e.g. Maps ) to scale an image, you can ‘ pinch’ the screen: mov e to z oom out or push to zoom in two ngers. MENUS Most applications have tw o types of menu: quick and c onte xt one. Quick menu is brought up by pressing Menu hardware button on a front panel.

USING THE ON - SCREEN KEYBOARD T o acc ess the on-screen k eyboard, touch any te xtbox. Enter your te xt by touching the k eys o f the on-screen k ey- board. 1 . Switches betwe en upper and low er case. If indicator in right top c orner is on, all the te xt will be typed in upper case.

TR ANSFERRING D A T A T o transfer data betwe en PC and the Devic e, c onnect micro- USB cable. NO TE The Devic e should be kept on during data transferring! Aft er y ou conne ct the cable, a notication window suggesting to turn on USB st orage will popup.
At rst, y ou need to install your netw ork operator SIM-card as it sho wn on a gure. In case if the card is prote cted with PIN- c ode, the Devic e will ask you t o enter it from on-screen k eyboard. PIN-code re quest settings can be changed in Settings > L oc a- tion & security > L ock SIM c ard > Set up SIM c ard lock .
• Data roaming – select whether use mobile network c onnection or not when y ou are out of your mobile operator c overage, for e xample, abroad • Network mode – select the most suitable one for your mobile network or set to auto-det ect • Ac c ess Point Name – Internet ac cess points c ongura - tion.

If the network you want t o conne ct to is hidden (was not rec - ognized during the scan), you can manually specify its SSID (network identicator) and security type – press Add Wi-Fi network to proc eed .
