1 1 M U LT I C H A N N E L A M P L I F I E R L O U D S P E A K E R O U T P U T S The connection of your loudspeak ers t o the output posts of the Plinius Odeon m ust be made by an ‘instructed per son ’ or by ready made loudspeak er cables only .
1 2 P L I N I U S O D E O N Wher e possible, check the wall outlet is switched OFF , then connect the local mains plug end of the lead to the wall outlet. Check the Odeon is switched OFF , and connect the IEC end of the cable to the IE C socket at the back of the Odeon.
1 3 M U LT I C H A N N E L A M P L I F I E R P r o d u c t F e a t u r e s E R R O R D E T E C T I O N The Plinius Odeon P ower Amplifier has in-built error det ection. This will function under the following conditions: When the amplifier is over driven/ clipped If any internal fuse is damaged.
1 4 P L I N I U S O D E O N M A I N S / L I N E F U S E A Mains/Line fuse is fitted within the IEC Mains/Line sock et on the r ear of the amplifier . A small drawer at the bottom of this sock et may be r emoved (after the IEC plug is r emoved) by lev ering it out with a flat blade screwdriv er .

It should not be used to oper ate with any other type of appliance or equipment. Be cer tain that your loudspeaker s can handle most of the rated output power of this amplifier .
