1 Deluxe USB charging cable Charges an extra battery while charging your headset via a USB port. 2 Electronic hookswitch cable (EHS cable) Electronically and automatically takes your desk phone handset off the hook. Enables remote call control with your headset.
After you install the headset battery, choose one of the three headset wearing styles, over-the-ear, over-the-head or behind-the-head. Use the fit kit to assemble it and optimise the position of the microphone. Positi on the battery as show n on the headset and sl ide into positi on until the bat tery sn aps into place.
NOTE Ens ure the ear loo p is fla t again st the h eadset before r otating . 2 Choose the si ze and s tyle of ear tip that fi ts most comfort ably. A lign the ear tip with t he notch facing the mi crophone as sho wn. Pres s on to attach. NOTE Ens ure the large e nd of th e ear t ip point s to th e microp hone.
1 Hold t he head band so it is al igned t o receiv e the h eadset a s shown and ins ert the headset into the he adband. 2 Rotate the he adset up . The h eadband can be w orn on the righ t or le ft side. 3 To opt imise t he posit ion of the head set, pus h the h eadset i n so th e microp hone is close t o your mouth.
NOTE Ens ure the large e nd of th e ear t ip point s to th e microp hone. 3 To pos ition y our head set cor rectly, first sl ide the stem of the he adband s o the he adset f its comfor tably. 4 With a finger on the headset indicat or light , push in until the mi crophone rests a s close to your cheek as poss ible wit hout to uching.

Your mobile phone can be paired to multiple headsets and hands-free devices, but it can only be connected to one device at a time. The following are instructions for pairing your mobile phone to the base. 1 Press down an d hold B luetooth pairin g button (4 sec onds) on Savi b ase unti l indica tor LED flashe s red a nd blue.

Audio Limiting Audio Limiting provides advanced hearing protection for daily noise exposure. When Audio- Limiting is SELECTED, the system monitors and controls sound to ensure audio levels do not exceed 80 dBA or 85 dBA (whichever is selected) specified by current and imminent EU legislation.
Auto answer When enabled, this feature will configure your headset to automatically answer a call when it is removed from the charging cradle. Featur e set l ock The Pl antroni cs softw are allo ws all of the b ase set tings to be loc ked to p revent c hanges.
Launch audio devices control panel Provides a shortcut to the Windows sounds and audio devices control panel. Ring both headset and PC This feature gives you the option to have the PC ringtone played on both the headset as well as the PC speaker.
Check for updates manually Check for available software and firmware updates at any time by clicking on the "Check for updates now" button. Install updates If new updates are available after a manual or automatic check, click on the "Install checked updates" button and installation will begin.
My headset is unstable. When you wear the headset, the microphone should rest as close to your cheek as possible without touching. The microphone can be adjusted inward by the pivoting earpiece to optimise the position of the headset. See Position your headset .
People I talk to can hear a buzz in the background. Move the base further away from your phone. See Position your base . If the base power supply is plugged into a power strip, plug it into the wall directly. The handset lifter is installed, but does not lift the handset.
I can no longer hear any audio through my PC Speakers. For Windows XP systems • Refer to the “Audio” tab of the “Sounds and Audio Devices” option in your PC Control Panel. • Under “Sound Playback”, change the default setting from Savi Office to your PC speakers.
