6 6 Ac c ess ories 1 Electronic Hookswitch Cable (EHS) Electronically takes your desk phone handset off hook. Enables remote call answer/end with your headset.

10 10 Chec k Co nfig ura tion a nd Mak e a T est Cal l 1 If your desk phon e has a volume control se t it to mid-rang e. 2 Look at the bottom panel of your base and make sure the default settings are correct.
11 Desk P hone pl us H L 10 Li fter ( sold sepa rately ) NOTE First follo w the steps above for D esk Phone (Standard) . 1 Firmly pre ss the handset lif ter power cor d into the handset lif ter jack . USE 2 While wearing yo ur headset , slide the handset lif ter arm under th e handset until the lif ter base touches th e side of the phone .
12 If Y ou Do Not Hear a Dial T one 1 If you do not he ar a dial t one, r aise the lif ter height sw itch to the nex t highest p osition. 2 Repeat ste ps 2 through 5 above as ne cessar y until you hear a dial tone . 3 When yo u hear a dial tone, secure t he lifter as des cribed in steps 6 t hough 8.

18 2 Wideband/Na rrowband Switc h The CS510 /CS 52 0 has wid eband audio, which allows sp eech to sound cle arer and more natural . If your desk phon e is capable of wideband audio, s et the Wideban d-Narrowb and switch to green for w ideband.
19 Pl ac e an Out goi ng Ca ll 1 Wearing your headse t, pres s the headse t call button . 2 Remove th e handset from the cr adle. Y ou w ill hear a dial tone.
