What is Bluetooth ® ? Bluetooth wireless technology pr ovides a way for devices to communicate with each other using short-range radio frequency instead of wires.

2 How to Charge Y our Headset Using Only the AC Charger Before using your headset for the first time, charge it for at least one hour . A full charge takes approximately two hours. 1 Connect the AC charger to a power outlet. 2 Plug the AC jack into the charging jack on the headset.
3 Pairing Y our Headset Pairing is the process of intr oducing your headset to your phone. Before using your headset for the first time, you must pair it with your Bluetooth phone. Normally , you need to pair your headset with your phone only once. T o see a demo of the pairing process, visit www .
4 1 How to Pair Y our Phone With Y our Headset for the First Time 1 T ur n on the Bluetooth feature on your phone. For most phones, select Settings/T ools > Connections > Bluetooth > On. See your phone’ s user guide for more information. 2 T ur n the headset on.
5 Pairing Y our Headset How to Pair Y our Headset if it Has Been Previously Pair ed With Another Device 1 T ur n the headset off. Press and hold the call contr ol button until the indicator turns red and then turns off. 2 T ur n the headset on. Press and hold the call contr ol button until the indicator flashes red/blue.
6 1 Lift the ear loop. 2 Swivel the ear loop to the right to wear it on your left ear , or swivel it to the left to wear it on your right ear . 3 Place the ear loop behind your ear . 4 Rotate the headset so that the speaker rests comfortably in your ear .
7 Headset Controls T urn on the headset Press and hold the call contr ol button until the indicator glows blue. Y ou will hear ascending tones. The indicator then flashes red up to thr ee times to show the battery charge level. T urn off the headset Press and hold the call control button until the indicator glows red.
8 Range T o maintain a connection, keep your headset within 33 feet (10 meters) of the Bluetooth de vice. If there ar e obstacles between your headset and the device, you may experience interference. For optimal performance, place your headset and phone on the same side of your body .
9 Indicator Lights Headset Status Headset Indicator Light Powering on Blue flashes. Repeat. Powering off Red appears and goes off. Charging battery Red solid light. Low battery Red flashes. Pairing mode Blue/red flashes. Missed call Purple flashes.
10 Hands-Free Featur es If your phone and your wir eless service pr ovider both support hands-fr ee operation, you can use the following features: Redial the last number T o activate last number redial, double press the call control button. Y ou will hear a high tone after each double-key press.
11 T roubleshooting My headset does not work with my phone. Headset was not in pairing mode when mobile phone menu selections were made. See page 5 “Pairing Y our Headset.” Incorrect menu selections wer e made on your mobile phone. See page 5 “Pairing Y our Headset.
