5 Hardware Installation 1. Un pa ck the FPS- 10 1 0M / FP S- 10 10 MG pac ka ge and ver if y the it em s lis te d in the previous section are provided. 2. Us e USB cab le to conn ect FPS- 1010 M / FPS -1 01 0M G to th e MFP or prin te r tha t you want to share to your network.
6 Management Software Installation Th is FPS -1 01 0M / FP S- 10 10 MG ma na ge me nt sof tw are c an be ru n in Win do ws 20 00 SP 4 or ab o ve , Win do ws X P SP1 or abo ve a nd W in do ws V is ta . 9 8. En te r the “Use r Nam e” and “P as sw o rd ” of the MFP Ser v er you ha ve sel e ct ed to login the MFP Server . The default “User Name” and “Password” is “admin” . Cl ic k “OK” . 9. Se t the “ Ali as Name ” and the “M FP Se rv er Desc r ip ti on ” to the MFP Ser v er he re .

11 12. If you choose to connect to an encrypted wireless network, the “Wireless Se - cu ri ty Set ti ng s“ sc re en wil l be ap pe ar ed . 13 15. The “MFP Manager” will display on your screen automatical ly that after you in - st al l man ag em en t sof t wa re nis h an d you r com pu t er ge t int o Win do ws XP rst time. Choose “Y es” that enable “MFP Manager” utility automatically when Win - dows starts.
14 Install the MFP Drivers/Utilities 1. Wh en the ins ta llat io n is com plet ed , th e “MF P Se rv er Con t ro l Ma na ge r” w il l po p up . It will aut omat ic al ly n d the MFP Ser v er s and the con ne ct e d MFP and sho w it in the “MFP Server List” .

16 5. Before creating the connection, you have to install tw o kinds of drivers: the driv - ers for MFP Server and the drivers for MFP . Please click “Next ” to start the in - st al la ti on . 6. Wh en yo u ar e in st al li ng th e MF P Se rv er Dr iv er s, th e fo ll ow in g me s sa ge wil l be displayed to notify you.
