2 En PLACEMENT AND FINE TUNING SUBWOOFER Sound spreads in all directions in the very low frequency range. Human hearing cannot easily detect the source of very low frequencies. Be sure to provide a space of at least 8 inches (20 cm) between the rear of the subwoofer and the nearest wall.
