DJM-T1 DJ MIXER “ TRAKTOR 2 ” Settings File Import Guide.
2 Intr oduction Pioneer pr ovides a settings le exclusiv ely for the Native Instrument's “ TRAKTOR 2 ” DJ software. Using this le lets you set a key mapping f or tak ing maximum advantage of the DJM- T1's function. • The settings le does not cov er all functions.
3 Backing up an existing settings file When a new settings le is imported, the previous settings are clear ed. W e recommend using the pr ocedure below to backup existing settings so that they can be r estored if necessary. ( This operation is not nec essar y for those using the TRAK T OR 2 soft ware f or the rst time.
4 Importing the Settings File 1 Access the Pioneer website ( http://www/prodjnet.com/support/ ), move fr om the Support top page to the Download page, and then download the settings le from DJM-T1 page. Since the download file is in the ZIP compressed format, extract the file before proceeding.
5 6 Click the [OK] button. Check that [Controller Mappings] is checked. 7 Open Controller Manager . 1 At [Device], select [P ioneer .DJM- T1], and at [In-P ort], select the device corresponding to the DJM- T1.
6 Deleting the settings If you want to delete the settings , do so using the procedur e below . 1 Open Controller Manager . At [Device], select the setting to be deleted, then select [Delete] from [Edit.
7 Using a settings sample for ADV ANCED SHIFT functions When the rmwar e of DJM- T1 is updated to v er . 2.00 or newer (*1) , and TRAK T OR 2 settings le is impor ted, ADV ANCED SHIFT func tion is added and the group of MIDI c odes are expanded.
8 Changing a settings sample of ADV ANCED SHIFT Assignments set b y the settings le of ADV ANCED SHIFT may be changed to meet your operating envir onment. Before chang ing any specic function assigned to [Button/Knob], delete the function assigned to the [Button/Knob] in the settings sample.
9 4 Open the Controller Manager Select [P ioneer .DJM- T1 - Generic MIDI] from [Device Setup]. 5 Select the settings in the "Assignment T able" F rom the [Assignment T able], select the settings for [MIDI] and [TRAKTOR2 Control] assigned to the [Button/Knob]-[F unction] you want to change.
10 6 Delete the settings dened in the Assignment T able. Click [Delete] to delete the selected settings. Delete all the settings assigned to the [Button/Knob]-[F unction] you want to change.
