6 Installa tion The site wh ere you p lace the Switch m ay greatly affect its performa nce. When insta lling, t ake the followi ng into you r consideration : Install the Switch in a site fre e from strong electromagn etic field generators (such as m otors), vibr ation, dust, and di rect expos ure to sunlight.
7 Rack Mounting The Swit ch can be mo unted in an EIA standa rd-size, 19-inc h rac k, which ca n be plac ed in a wiri ng close t wit h othe r equip ments . Atta ch the m ount ing bra cket s t o b ot h side s of the Swi tch (o ne at eac h si de) , and secure them with the prov ided screws.
