When the switch is turned on, the LCD displays all of the operating functions and gives a beep (See figure on left).
3 O N/O FF M aintain R everse Forward O N/O FF Maintain Reverse Forward O N/O FF Maintain Reverse Forward FOR W ARD Mode When pressing the FOR W ARD button, the LCD dis- p lays AUTO and the motor enters the FORW ARD mode. Press and hold the FOR W ARD button in order to keep the motor running forward.
4 OVERHEA T Mode If the shredder overheats, the LCD will flash OVER- H EA T . Both AUTO and REVERSE functions will stop. When the shredder overheats, user may pr ess ON/OFF to place the shredder in stand by mode. The shredder will not r esume normal functioning until the temperature of the motor cools down to a safe temperature and LCD shows AUTO.
