1 Getting started Bat t ery installation Install the batt ery as shown below. Aft er installing the battery , you may be able t o make and rec eive short calls. For optimal performance, char ge the headset battery for at l east six hours befor e use. When not in use, recharge the headset b y returning it to the headset base.
2 Getting started Bat t ery char ging After installing the bat tery , charge the headset by placing it in the headset base as shown below . The headset ON/OFF light will be on when the headset is charging. IMPORT ANT INF ORMA TION Use only the supplied rechar geable battery or r eplacement battery (model B T191545).
3 Getting started Avoid placing the headset base t oo close t o: • Communication devices such as: television sets, VCRs, or other cordl ess telephones. • Excessive heat sourc es. • Noise sources such as a window with traffic outside, mot ors, microwav e ovens, refriger ators, or fluor escent lighting.

7 Getting started Headset base install ation Option 1: Headset base with cor ded or cor dless phone ins tallation (TL7610) 1. Plug the small end of the headset base power adapter into the POWER jack (green dot) at the back of the headset base.
8 Getting started Headset base install ation Option 2: Headset base st and-alone inst allation (TL7610) In order to mak e calls, you will need a tel ephone plugged into the same telephone line or a dial pad (TL7601 sold separ ately).
