2 AVP1/ AVP1P OWNERS MANUAL INTRODUCTION Congratulations on your PERREAUX Model AVP1 purc hase. T o realise the f ull potential of your Perreaux AVP1 y ou need to appreciate all aspec ts of its operation. Before ins talling the AVP1 into your sy stem , read the entire m anual caref ully.

6 This RED LED will light up when the program during playback is PCM digital encoded. 5 MU TE Sound will be muted and the 2 and ½ digits display will blink when the rem ote MUTE button has been pr essed. Pres s the MUTE button again to disable the function.

8 REMOTE CONTROLS The AVP1 com es s upplied with a PERREAUX 29 button f ull func tion infrar ed remote control. 1 STANDBY The power or s tandby control button is located both on the remote controls and f ront panel. Depres s ing this control alter nately causes the AVP1 to s witch to standby mode or norm al operation m ode.
9 HA LL LAG HA LL SM L STADIUM c Press the “UP” or DOW N” button on the rem ote to s elect one of the DSP surround m odes. d Press the “ ENTER” button on the rem ote handset to c om plete the DSP surround m ode s election.
10 - Always ensure your AVP1 is disconnec ted from the mains /line supply if changing the m ains /line fus e. - Do not run the outputs into the inputs of the AVP1. - O peration of the AVP1 in the vicinity of a strong radio fr equency (RF) source should be countered by RF filtering on all inputs and outputs inc luding the ma ins/line s upply .
