12 13 Spe ci al Note a bout the OK Button T he OK button, also known as the “Cont rol Pad”, is a track ball that controls the function of all direction keys (Right, Left, Up and Down keys).
US B 14 15 Recharging by US B Cabl e Another way to recharge the Jukebox is t o connect the USB port at the bot t om of the Jukebox wit h the USB port of a computer using the USB cable. The recharging process starts automatically . The USB cable recharges the battery from 0% t o 70% ~ 80% capacities within 4 hours.
16 17 Transferring Files From Your PC - Connect the PD-1000 using USB cable to the computer. - Power on the PD -1000 by holding the Play button until “USB Connected” is shown on the unit ’s screen. - Click on “M y Computer” on Windows Exp lorer, a “Removable Disk” icon will appear on the Window.

20 21 Brows i ng The Main Menu A total of six sub-menus are included in the Main Menu: 1. Play Music (Music Library Browsing) – From which you can browse the Music Library. Music Library helps categorizes your music under Artist, Album, Year, Genre and Track.
22 23 Browsing by Index (Artist, Album, Genre, Track) Browsing songs by the categories – Artist, Album, Genre or Track share the same display layout. Please refer to the following example in which Elton John is being located. Display Layout To ease searching, artists are sorted in alphabetical order from A to Z.

30 31 Selecting Songs for the Playlist Use the Up and Down keys to scroll and select a particular song from a category. Press the OK button or the Right key to mark a “ ” beside the selected song. If you want to unmark the song, simply press the OK button again.
32 33 Removing a Playlist To remove an entire playlist, select “Delete Playlist ” and then press the OK button. You will be shown a list of playlists. Select the playlist you want to remove and press the OK button, you will be asked for your confirmation to remove the playlist.
34 35 Update Database Every time you have modified the music contents in the Jukebox, it is necessary to update the database once. The Jukebox will automatically request you to perform this function after you unplugged the PD-1000 from the USB cable.
