A. Confi rm the opening is plumb and level. Note: It is critical that the bottom is level. B. Confi rm the door will fi t the opening. Measure all four sides of the opening to make sure it is 3/4" larger than the door in width and 1/2" lar ger in height.
L. Bend each end of the center panel up. J. Make a 1" cut in each fold a t both ends of the sill pan. Note: T hese cuts will allow the edges of the sill pan to be bent.

7 SEALING THE DOOR T O THE EXTERIOR WALL CLADDING When applying siding, brick veneer or other e xterior fi nish material, leave adequate space between the door frame and the material for sealant. Refer to the illustra tion that corresponds to your fi nish material.
INTERIOR FINISHING If products cannot be fi nished immediately, cover with clear plastic to protect fr om dirt, damage and moisture. Remove any construction residue befor e fi nishing. Sand all wood surfaces lightly with 180 grit or fi ner sandpaper .
