3 INTEGRA TING THE DOOR TO THE BUILDING FEL T N ote: The flashing tape must be applied approximately 1/2" onto the frame cladding at the jambs and head. Pr e-folding the tape at 1/2" before remo ving the paper backing will make it easier to apply the tape correctly .
5 SEALING THE DOOR TO THE EXTERIOR WALL CLADDING N ote: When applying the casing bead for stucco, leave 1/2" space between the head of the door and the casing bead, and 3/8" space between the door jambs and the casing bead for backer rod and sealant.
