INST ALLA TION O VER VIEW MAINTENANCE OPERA TION UV systems disinfect the water using ultraviolet light, treating the w ater as it passes through the system. When there is a risk that water downstream of the UV system has been contaminated, it is critical that these water lines be c hemically disinfected.
