[ 4 ] Pelco Manual C1985M-E (4/03) Power and Video Connections The MC3651H-2 camera is designed to operate from a 12 VDC or 24 V AC power supply . The power sup- ply connections are shown in Figure 1. The LED on the back panel of the camera indicates that power is connected.
Pelco Manual C1985M-E (4/03) [ 5 ] To connect the camera power and video: 1. Remove the cosmetic trim ring from the camera (refer to Figure 1). Thread cabling through the rear cover . 2. Connect the power cable to the two pin power connector on the back of the camera using the terminal block connector (provided).
[ 6 ] Pelco Manual C1985M-E (4/03) LENS SETUP AND FOCUS PROCEDURES V ideo Drive Auto Iris Lens When a video drive auto iris lens is used, the lens mode selector switch must be set to AIV . Switch the ESC and AGC OFF . Refer to the lens instructions and adjust the lens for the optimum picture (video out- put level of 1V peak-to-peak).
Pelco Manual C1985M-E (4/03) [ 7 ] Figure 5. Back Focus Adjustment BACK FOCUS ADJUSTMENT The back focus adjustment is located at the front of the camera and is accessible from either side of the case. To adjust the back focus: 1. Loosen the two back focus locking screws (one on each side).

Pelco Manual C1985M-E (4/03) [ 9 ] 7 NOR/SHP - Sharpness NOR (Default setting) - Sets the camera to normal sharpness mode. SHP - Enables the Sharpness mode. Enhances picture detail by increasing the aperture gain of the camera, sharpening the edges in the picture.

T o eliminate vertical roll, adjust the phase control by synchronizing, or line- locking, the cameras to one another .
