6 C2643M (4/08) Installing the Symantec System Center The Symante c System Center is installed us ing the Symantec An tiVi rus CD. Install the Symantec System Ce nter on each of the comp uters designated to manage your a ntivirus prot ection. T o install the Symantec System Center: 1.

10 C2643M (4/08) INSTALLING THE PRIMARY MANAGEMENT SERVER The Symante c AntiVirus managemen t server (al so known as th e primary man agement server ) can be inst alled using the Symantec Anti Virus CD or from the Symantec System Center .

Y ou can not install clients f rom the Symantec System Center without conf iguring a prima ry management ser ver .

In the Password te xt box, type the password t h at you entered wh en you installed the antivir us primary management server .
