C2641M-C (7/09) 9 OPERATING SYSTEM SECURITY Upon a successful boot procedure, the DX 8100 will automatically load the Microsoft ® Windows ® XP Embedded oper ating system.

IPSec facil itates auth entication and en cryption at the network packet level. IPSec ser vices protect the DX81 00 from unwanted or pote ntially damaging netw ork requests.
