C697M-A (7/02) 3 DESCRIPTION The DX2000 Data Adapters are used to connect any serial device, such as a cash register , retail point-of-sale (POS) terminal, or bank automated teller machine (A TM), to the DX2000 Digital Video Recorder (DVR) or DX2000 Data Hub.

Set the switch to the TX position (factory default) when connecting directly to the device’ s DB25 output port.
