4 C3453M-B (4/09) Description The EH1512 Series indoor/out door enclosures are design ed for use with s mall- to medium-sized analog and IP c ameras. They will a ccommodate both fixed and variable focal le ngth lenses (with or without auto-iris operatio n ).
C3453M-B (4/09) 5 PACKAGE CONTENTS NOTE: A metric Allen wrench (5 mm) is required for insta llation but is not included. A Phillips sc rewdriver , flat head screwdriver , o r 1 /4-inch nu t driver is needed for th e EH1512-1 and EH1512-3 on ly .
6 C3453M-B (4/09) Installation INSTALLING THE CA MERA AND MOUNT T o install the enclosure, camera, and lens: 1. Use a 5-mm Al len wrench (n ot supplied) to loosen the three sc rews on the enc losure ba se. 2. Lift up a nd remove th e lid (ref er to Figure 2 ).
C3453M-B (4/09) 7 3. Remove the camera sled from the e nclosure rail (refer to Figure 3 ). a. Squeeze the t wo plastic tabs (loca ted near t he front win dow) that ho ld the came ra sled in place. b. Pull up and slide the sle d forward. c. Remove the sled.
8 C3453M-B (4/09) 7. If you are using th e EM1512 mount, attach the mount to th e wall as follows: a. Using the mount as a temp late, mark and drill holes in the mounting surface. b. Pull the video and p ower cables from the wall through the mo unt. If wiring with conduit, use a step drill to drill a 0.
