12 C1306M-B (10/06) Install the Camera Module T o install the camera mo dule, do th e followi ng: 1. Refer to Figure 4. Loosen t he set screw at the back of the camera encl osure with the pr ovided 1.5 mm A llen wrench. Figure 4. Loosen Set Screw 2. Use the supplied spanne r wrench to loosen the ba ck of the camera enclosur e (refer to Figure 5).
C1306M-B (10/06) 13 3. Slide th e camera module i nto the camera enclosure. Refer to Figure 6 to position t he camera modul e properly in the camera e ncl osure. Carefully mate the camer a’ s power connector to the mating connector loca ted inside the camera en closure.
14 C1306M-B (10/06) 4. Models with a wiper: Refer to Figure 8 and do the fo llowing to install the arm of th e wiper: a. Place the su pplied green bushing on t he stud locate d behind th e handle of t he camera module . The bushing should be in the sam e orientatio n as shown in Figure 8.
C1306M-B (10/06) 15 Install the Enclosure and Set Pan Position 1. Check fo r proper seat ing of the po wer module seal. Make sure t he seal is fully seated in t he groove on th e top of the power m odul e. Figure 9. Factory-Installed Power Module Seal 2.
16 C1306M-B (10/06) Set the T ilt Angle of the Camera Module 1. Place a 41 mm open end or crescent wrench on the tilt locking nu t and a 21 mm open end wre nch on the tilt shaft (refer to Fig ure 11).
C1306M-B (10/06) 17 Install the Sun Shroud 1. Place the supplied nylon washer s on the 6-32 Phillips pan head screws. Refer to Figure 12. 2. Align the moun ting holes of the sun shroud with the holes on top of th e camera enclosure. 3. Use the supplied nylo n washers and screws t o secure the sun shroud to th e camera enclosure.
18 C1306M-B (10/06) Maintenance CAMERA MODULE REPLACEMENT T o replace the c amera module, do t he following: 1. Remove the back cap of the came ra enclosure. Refer to Figur e 13 and do the following: a. Loosen the set screw with a 1. 5 mm Allen wrench .
C1306M-B (10/06) 19 3. Models with a wiper: Remove the wiper arm an d the green bushing from the unit (r efer to Figure 14 ). 4. Slide the camera modu le out of the enclosure. 5. Install th e new camera modu le by doing th e following: Slide the came ra module into the camera encl osure.
20 C1306M-B (10/06) 6. Models with a wiper: Refer to Figure 14 and do the following to re install the arm of the wipe r: a. Reinstall the gree n bushing on the stud locate d behind the handle of the camera module.
