The Model 580 is also w ell suited for use in se vere lightning areas, hea vy industr ial environments , and installations with heavy machiner y in the direct vicinity of sensitiv e LAN equipment and cab ling. Figure 2 (belo w) shows a typical application for the Model 580.
2. Install the Model 570/580 between the incoming UTP line and the protected equipment (see Figure 3, below).
