9 FUEL ING & LUBR ICATION W ARNING: Remove fuel cap slow - ly when ref ueling. FUELING ENGINE This engine is certified t o operate on unleaded gasoline. Bef ore operation, gasoline must be mixed with a good quality 2-cycle air-cooled engine oil. W e recommend Poulan/Weed Eat- er R brand oil.
10 S Push the chok e knob i n completely (t o the OFF position); pull t he starter rope until t he engine start s. OFF FULL CHOKE Choke knob (SIDE VIEW ) S Allow the engine to run for approx imately 5 seconds . Then, squeeze and release throttl e trigger to allow engi ne t o return to idle speed.
11 S Release t he throttl e t rigger as s oon as the cut is complet ed, allowing t he en- gine to idle. If you run t he saw at full throttl e without a cutti ng load, unnec - essary wear can oc cur to the c hain, bar, and engine. S T o avoi d losing control when c ut is complet e, do not put press ure on saw at end of cut.
