2 XP-10 Owner’ s Manual The XP-10 is an ultra high quality line-stag e audio preamplifier featuring remote control and internal power supply . The XP-10 minimizes the number of components in the signal path, and yet retains exemplary objectiv e perfor mance specifications .

6 XP-10 Owner’ s Manual The front panel mode switch cycles the preamplifier and it’ s display through 2 different functions . These two functions are as follo ws: Input, and Gain. The two Select switc hes (designated by left and right pointing ar rows) then alter the displa yed activ e function.

The high g ain selects +10 dB and the low selects 0 dB as the maxim um volume (step 64) setting . W e sug g est that you let y our ears deter mine which setting conv eys the most sonic benefit in your system.
8 XP-10 Owner’ s Manual P ASS THR U: Pushing this button twice, sets the pre-amplifier to it’ s default low gain setting, selects volume step 64 (0 dB) and input 5. W e have intentionally made this command a tw o step operation such that you will not accidentally select this command with it’ s associated high volume .
