7 XA100 Owner’ s Manual Y ou may remotely operate the stand-b y mode by applying 12 volts DC to the single pair of 5 wa y connectors on the rear of the amplifier . The positiv e of the 12 v olts DC g oes to the red connector , negative to the blac k.
8 XA100 Owner’ s Manual Speaker cables should be fir mly tightened do wn at the speaker output ter minals , but not with a wrench. Output ter minals will not withstand the lev els of torque that may be easily applied b y wrench. Hand tightening without ex cessiv e force is plenty .
