2 The Bypa ss Signal Path - U nbalanced Inputs (illustrated below) The surround receiver ’s L & R Preamp Out jacks connect to the JC 2 BP Input 2 Unbalanced Input jacks. The JC 2 BP Main Output jacks connect to the Input jacks of t he power amplifier driving the L & R spea k ers .
3 How to Assign an Input for the Bypass function Any of the six inputs can be turned into a Bypass inp ut. T his incl udes the balanced XLR jacks for inputs 1 and 2. To assign an input for the Bypass mode you must use the remote control supplied wi th the JC 2 BP to setup t he Bypass f unction.
4 If you turn the JC 2 BP v olume control knob m anually w hile Bypass is selected you will n ot hear a volume change. But you did make a new volume setting and it w ill be instantly au dible when you sel ect a non-Bypass input . The resu lting blast of sound could be loud enough to damage y our speakers.
