4 RQT7972 Simple setup Preparation ≥ T o pre vent damage or scratches , lay down a soft cloth and perform assembly on it . ≥ For assembl y , use a Phillips-head screwdriver . ≥ Make sure you hav e all the indicat ed components before star ting assembly , setup, and connection.
5 RQT7972 [HT930] 1 Assemble t he speaker stands. 1 Thread the speaker cable through the base. For quick er threading, loose ly fold the cab le in half (do not crease), pass the folded port ion through the hole, and then pull the rest of t he cable through the base.
6 RQT7972 Simple setup [HT933] 1 Attach the pi pe to the base. 1 Thread the speaker cable through the base. 2 Insert th e pipe. 3 Secur e th e pipe to the b ase . Ensure the screws are securely fastened b y lightly tightening the left and ri ght side screws alter nately until fully tightened.
7 RQT7972 4 Connect the speaker cables. 5 Fast en the speaker cab le to the base . ≥ Using the same polyf oam as in procedure 2 will assist you in safely and securely fastening the speaker ca b les. ∫ Preventing the spea kers fr om falling over Preparation Attach screw eyes (not included) to secure the speakers to the wall ( ➜ diagram below).
8 RQT7972 Front speaker assembly ∫ Attaching to a wall Y ou can attach all of the speak ers to a wall. 1 Drive a scre w (not incl uded) into the wall. 2 Fit the speaker securely onto the screw(s ) with the hole(s). ≥ The wall or pillar on whic h the speakers are to be attached s hould be capable of suppor ting 10 k g (22 lbs) per sc rew .
9 RQT7972 ≥ Use onl y supplied s peakers Using other speakers can damage the unit, and sound quality will be negatively af fected. ≥ Set the speakers up on an ev en surface to pre vent t hem from fal ling. T ake proper precautions to pre vent t he speakers from fal ling if you cannot set them up on an ev en surface.
10 RQT7972 ≥ Attach the speaker-cabl e stickers to mak e connection easier. ≥ The ter minals of the sub woof er have high output power . Carefully connect the s peaker wires.
