10 E Installing the stand (supplied) • Disconnec t all cables from the monitor . • Firmly tighten the installation screws (supplied) with the he x wrench (supplied). • Ensure that you have sucient space t o work. n Attaching the stand Remove all packaging materials befor e starting work .
11 E n Height/angle adjustment • Adjusting the height Adjust to a heigh t that is easy to view . Approx. 5-29/32inch (15cm) • The height cannot be adjusted in a vertical installation. • Adjusting the angle Adjust to an angle tha t is easy to view .

Also , read the manual of the equipment to be connected. • B e careful not to confuse the input terminal with the output terminal when connecting cables.
13 E C onnecting the P o w er C ord • Use only the power cord and A C adapter supplied with the monitor . 1. T ur n o the main power switch. 2. Connect the AC adapter (supplied) to the po wer cord (supplied). 3. Connect the AC adapter (supplied) to the A C input terminal.
14 E Binding Cables n F astening the cables The cables connected to the terminals on the rear of the monit or can be fastened with the cable clamp. Attach the cable clamps to the attachment parts on the back of the monitor and the stand, and bind the cables.
15 E • Turn on the monitor rst bef ore turning on the PC or playback device. T urning on the main p ow er Main power switch • The main power must be turned on/o with the main power switch. Do not connect/disconnect the power cord or turn the breaker on/o while the main power swit ch is on.

17 E Basic Operation n Switching the scr een size Even when the screen siz e is changed, the display may r emain the same depending on the input signal. WIDE PC input Displays image so it lls the entir e screen. A V input An image with a 4:3 aspec t ratio is stretched to ll the en tire screen.
18 E Menu Items Displaying the menu screen Video adjustment and settings of various functions are enabled. This section describes how to use the menu items. See pages 19 to 21 for details of each menu items . • D o not turn the main power switch o while the menu items are being display ed.
19 E Menu item details The menu will dier depending on the input mode . n PICTURE BRIGHT Adjusts the backlight brightness. C ONTRAST Adjusts the dier ence between the bright and dark portions of the image. BLACK LEVEL Adjusts the entire brightness of the video sig nals.
20 E n SETUP LANGUA GE Sets the display language for the menu screen. INPUT SELECT HDMI1/HDMI2 Select the input modes to be used for the PC/A V HDMI1 and HDMI2 input terminals. HDMI DU AL T o use HDMI DUAL, select ON. A UDIO SELECT Selects the terminal used to input audio signals in each input mode.
21 E Menu Items n O THERS SCREEN MO TION P A T TERN Residual images are reduced b y moving the screen. OFF ......................... SCREEN MOTION function is disabled. P A TTERN1 ............. A black screen spreads from the bottom of the screen and then shrinks to the bottom of the screen.
22 E Menu Items n Dual screen display T wo screens can be displa yed by selecting PBP mode. Set this function with “PBP MODE” in the PBP menu. PBP Main screen Sub screen A main screen and a sub screen are displa yed in a line. * The currently selected input signal is display ed on the main screen.
23 E Y ou can return the settings to their factory-preset values and restrict operations. 1. Hold down the [MENU/ENTER] button and [INPUT/RETURN] button at the same time until “F” app ears in the screen, and then press the [MENU/ENTER] button and [VOL-/ ] button at the same time while “F” appears.
