If the unit is conn ected to a computer with the USB cable before installing Multi-Func tion Station, the [ Found Ne w Hardware Wizar d ] dialogue bo x will appear .

3. Printer 30 3 Printer Printer 3.1 Printing fr om Windows applications Y ou can pr int a file created in a Windows application. For e xampl e, to print from Wo rdPad, proceed as f ollows: 1 Open the document you want to pr int. 2 Select [ Print... ] from the [ File ] menu.

4. Scanner 33 4 Scanner Scan ner 4.1 Scanning from the unit (Push Scan) Y ou can easily sca n the document by using the operation panel on the un it. Y ou can select one of the f ollo wing scanning modes depending on how you intend to use the scanned image.

11. Help 91 Troubleshooting 11.3 When a function doe s not work 11.3.1 General Prob lem Cause & Solution The unit does not w ork. L Check the connections (page 19, 27). The recording pa per exit becomes full qu ickly or the recording paper doe s not stack properl y at the recording paper exit.
11. Help 92 11.3.2 Printing pr oblems I for got the passwor d for feature programming via remote operation. L Y ou ma y have changed the f eature pro gramming pass word. If y ou do not remember it, assign a new pass word using feature #155 (page 64). When required to enter the cu rrent pass word, enter “ 0101 ” instead.
