12 VQT3F15 (ENG) This touch panel is a type that detects pressure. Y ou can operate the camera by directly touching the icons or images on the LCD monitor (T ouch Panel) with your fi nger or the supplied stylus pen. T ouch T o touch and release the touch panel.

It has been found that counterfeit battery pac ks which look very similar to the genuine product are made a vailable to pur chase in some markets.

17 (ENG) VQT3F15 About the Built-in Memory / the Card Built-in Memory • Memor y size: Appro x. 70 MB • The built-in memor y can be used as a temporary storage device when the card being used becomes full. • The access time for the built-in memory may be longer than the access time for a card.

19 (ENG) VQT3F15 Setting Date / Time (Cloc k Set) • The clock is not set when the camera is shipped. Open the lens cover . • The camera is tur ned on. T ouch the language select icon on the screen. Select the language. • The [Please set the clock] message appears.

This section describes the operation method using the example of ho w to set the [AF Mode] in the recording menu to [ 3 ] (F ace Detection).
