The current Serial A T A interface allows up to 150 MB/s data transfer rate, faster than the standard parallel A T A with 133 MB/s (Ultra A T A133).

Connect one end of the audio cable to the S/PDIF Out connector on the motherboard, and the other end to the S/PDIF module.
